Two Consecutive Winning Seasons! . . . . . . . Ready for 2009!
Milford has played some good soccer the past three seasons, with winning records the past two. The Lady Mavs have also advanced in the Districts the past two years, but fell to Grand Blanc, who has a history of solid soccer and District/Regional advancement. Last year, the girls went 9-8-1 overall, and 5-4-1 in the Kensington Valley Conference (KVC) in it's last year before the new conference restructuring. This year, our West Division of the KLAA conference will include Brighton, Hartland, Howell and Pinckney, which will be a good test for the Lady Mavs.
This year, we welcome back the seniors, juniors and sophomores to lead the team, led by varsity captains Tess Zasuwa and Michelle Dant. And, we welcome in the new freshmen soccer players, with several participating in the winter session.
